on June 16 in Paris, President Emanuel Macron, together with the most important players in the Hi-Tech world, opened VivaTech, a place where French startups show their innovations, meet investors and potential customers.? February 10, 2022 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, the WAICF (World AI Cannes Festival) will be inaugurated, a global event to show technological advances, especially in France, in Artificial Intelligence.? This, and much more, such as investments in Quantum Computing and in the Universities of Paris, Toulouse, Grenoble and Nice, is part of a strategic plan to make France a “Startup Nation”.? The results are evident in the considerable number of “Unicorns” that have been created in France.? In Italy we have talents, capacity for innovation, will to succeed but the ecosystem is not capable of creating a virtuous spiral. Universities, research, big business, investments and our best young people with brilliant ideas and innovative capacity go abroad, especially to California and England. Their value is testified by the success that they manage to achieve with difficulty, of course, but determination.?Why allow all this? Why not try also with us in Italy, under his leadership and vision, to trigger a dynamic that changes the ecosystem and gives our young people the opportunity to stay in Italy and here with us to have the success they are capable of having elsewhere? ? Our APPEAL consists of one simple thing: we create an event of the level of VivaTech in Italy, or if anything we propose to make it a traveling European event, we give the best with vision and will the opportunity to show their ideas, to find funding necessary to the extent of our European competitors (10 billion for startups in France) and to open research in universities with repercussions in the creation of Spin-Offs. “The Startup Nation“ Let’s do it now !?
