Activate programs and initiatives for the protection and promotion of the health and psychophysical well-being of female students, families and teachers. Promote information and awareness campaigns on the issues of preventing behaviors that determine health risks.
Strengthen and enhance the school inclusion of children, pupils and students with disabilities, with specific developmental disorders and with other special educational needs. These are the main objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding “Protection of the rights to health, study and inclusion” signed in recent days by the Minister of Education, Patrizio Bianchi, and the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza.
The agreement – explains a note from the MI – provides for a path of knowledge and training to be promoted within educational institutions. Female students and students will be accompanied in activities organized according to specific thematic areas: from knowledge of the value of vaccinations, to food education, from sustainable mobility, to the school inclusion of children, pupils and students with disabilities, up to the prevention of the phenomenon of cyberbullying. All this, through shared awareness-raising and information initiatives for families, with the involvement of associations. Coordination between school institutions, staff training and the establishment of school networks will be encouraged.
The Protocol has a duration of three years and provides for the establishment of a committee and the formation of specific working groups in which experts from the world of schools, universities, health and associations can participate.
