Blackout of the list of people following private Instagram profiles based in Russia and Ukraine. In addition, Russian state-controlled media posts will be further down the story bar and will be penalized in the flow of content on the users’ wall. Those who decide to share posts from such accounts will see a notice explaining how what you are publishing comes from a Russian state entity. The same posts shared by profiles connected to Moscow will no longer be present in the ‘Explore’ and ‘Reels’ sections under “recommended” and those who already follow these profiles will no longer be able to see the list of their followers.

In recent days, Facebook had also introduced similar measures.
