Like the Young Ancona. Even the Unione Rugbistica Anconitana, a company that has always been attentive to young people, the territory and future planning, was penalized by bureaucracy in view of the restyling of the Nelson Mandela gym in Via della Montagnola. The Ancona club, in fact, failed to enter the parameters of the “Suburban Fund” for a mere bureaucratic quibble (in this case the validation by the Municipality had to be on its own initiative and not on the recommendation of the company) and so the proposed gymnasium did not it will come true.
The president Ernesto Cimino directly spoke of his bitterness and that of everyone who is registered: «We had worked out in great detail this project already approved by the Municipality. There is talk of an investment of 450 thousand euros in which the Anconitana Rugby Union would have contributed alone for 100 thousand euros. A 200sqm gym would have been created just outside the pitch and instead the same quirk that prevented the Young Ancona from intervening on the Aspio stopped us too ».
So what’s going to happen? «We do not agree with this choice but we must take note of it. All this will ensure that our many members, if they want to go to the gym, will have to move elsewhere or use the few tools present in the current one. Sorry because it would have been an intervention especially for them ».
