New appointments in Gellfy, the platform that selects and grows startups with a high technological content and connects them to traditional companies (with the aim of innovating their processes, products and business models): Fabio Vaccarono, deputy, joins the board of directors president of Google and CEO of Google Italy. The appointment will be effective by the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2021.
After a degree in Economics and an MBA from Bocconi University, Fabio Vaccarono joined the strategic consulting firm Bain & Company and subsequently held various positions as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, from the L’Espresso Publishing Group, to the Sole 24 Ore Group and in Rcs Mediagroup. He was also CEO of Starcom Mediavest, a Publicis Groupe company. In 2020 Vaccarono was appointed Vice President of Google, while maintaining the role of CEO of Google Italy and member of the board of Google Europe, Middle East and Africa. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Sole 24 Ore Group, of Pegaso – Multiversity Group, of AmCham Italy, of the Scientific Committee of the Mattei Foundation, of the Assonime Board and of the Sorgenia digital board.
