A 41 year old woman she’s dead in Bema, in the Orobie Alps in Valtellina, after falling into the area of the sports facility from the Fly Emotion aerial ropeway. The dynamics of the tragic accident at the sports facility need to be clarified. In the structure, tourists seek breathtaking experiences through an air rope that takes them safely, suspended in the void, from the town of Bema to the other side of the mountain. The fall at the end of the route The woman was flying attached to the rope over the Bitto valley, between Albaredo and Bema. According to initial information, once the maximum speed was reached, around 120 kilometers per hour, almost at the end of the journey, the woman slipped out of her harness and crashed from a height of twenty metres.
Sling hanging on the rope, dynamics to be clarified The woman died instantly and the harness remained hanging from the zip line. It therefore remains to be understood how it could have happened that the woman got out of the security system that kept her hanging. The emergency call came not from the plant staff, but from a third person who was probably with the victim.
