WHO, we think vaccines are effective against Omicron - World

“There are no indications that the current vaccines protect against Omicron” and “there is no indication that this variant causes more severe forms of Covid-19”: the World Health Organization told AFP ( WHO) through its emergency manager, Michael Ryan. “We have very effective vaccines that have proven their power against all variants that have appeared so far in terms of disease severity and hospitalizations and there is no reason to think that it is not the same in this case” with respect to the Omicron variant. Ryan said.
