Earlier, Microsoft launched a major update to Windows 11, and US users can be the first to download and install Android programs through the Amazon Appstore, and run them in the Windows 11 environment. Like other Windows programs, Android programs and games are displayed in windows. Recently, Microsoft has also disclosed the most basic requirements of the computer system to run Android programs natively.
According to Microsoft’s announcement, to run Android programs on the computer, the processor must be Intel Core i3 8th generation or above, AMD Ryzen 3000 or above, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8c or above, with at least 8GB RAM or 16GB RAM recommended, and use SSD hard drive Disk storage, the processor architecture must be x64 or ARM64, and the Virtual Machine Platform function must be enabled.
Since Windows 11 is not eligible to install the Google Play Store, Microsoft has chosen the Amazon Appstore as a partner. Currently, there are about 1,000 Android programs or games that can be downloaded and executed in the Windows 11 environment.
