The goal is to avoid that there are repercussions on ordinary activities, the extra covid one, of the hospital and of the emergency room in particular. Even in this phase, the staff is subjected to particular work and pressure, being divided between covid areas and “normal” rooms. «On average we have two patients to manage at the PS – continues Dr. Rossi – and one of these two entrances is on average serious, therefore it needs to be managed for several days before being transferred. At the moment we have an intubated patient in intensive care and four patients in sub-intensive care: of these, two are hospitalized in the medical area and two in the external container of the emergency room. Then, as mentioned, on average we have a couple of them at the PS ».
The analysis on the accesses between vaccinated and unvaccinated is a duty, precisely because it is part of the anamnesis and medical records of each patient. «Let’s say that this summer – says the head physician – about 75% of covid patients (therefore 3 out of 4) we have treated are not vaccinated.
