Federal Health Minister Hermann Gröhe, Dr. Andreas Gassen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV), Thomas Reumann, President of the German Hospital Association (DKG), Johann-Magnus von Stackelberg, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Association of Statutory Health Insurance Companies (GKV-SV) and Prof. Dr. André Gries from the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI) with the numerous participants from the fields of health policy, health care, self-administration and health research.
The Council of Experts then presented its most important research results and recommendations for emergency care in Germany in a press conference. To assess the current emergency care, the council members used both national and international examples and concepts from a wide variety of institutions.
