The medassure cosmetics follow-up cost insurance was created with the clear aim of covering complications that can arise from non-surgical cosmetic treatments. For example, infections or swelling cannot be ruled out even during wrinkle treatments and lip corrections. Health insurance companies can deny benefits in whole or in part if complications occur and paid, medically necessary follow-up treatment becomes necessary. Follow-up treatments can also be carried out in private clinics with a simple and quick performance check within 48 hours. Another special feature of the insurance offer: It includes annual protection, which applies regardless of the number of treatments carried out within the insured year.

The follow-up cost insurance covers the costs of treating complications from wrinkle injections with botulinum toxin A. These can be, for example, swelling, hematomas or infections. Wrinkle treatments and lip corrections with absorbable fillers can cause swelling, hematomas or infections, as well as the so-called Tyndall effect. With the Tyndall effect, the treated regions turn blue for a long time. Follow-up treatments can be complex and expensive – but are fully covered with medassure cosmetics.
