The reporter learned from the meeting that the 2021 Service Trade Fair will be held in Beijing from September 2 to 7. The venue for this session of the Service Trade Fair is located in the National Convention Center and Shougang Industrial Park. It will host 6 types of activities including global service trade summits, forums and conferences, exhibitions, promotion negotiations, results releases, and side events. Among them, the exhibition area is about 130,000 square meters, and there are more than 100 forums, conferences and promotion and negotiation activities. Two days from September 3 to 4 are professional visitor days, and three days from September 5 to 7 are open days for the public.

At present, the investment and exhibition work of the Service Trade Fair is being promoted in an all-round way. According to Yan Ligang, internationally, 138 overseas and China organizations in 105 overseas countries and regions plan to hold exhibitions online or offline. The top 30 countries and regions in service trade have institutions participating, involving 76 my country has signed the “Belt and Road” agreement.
The comprehensive exhibition recruitment is progressing smoothly. 38 overseas countries and 5 international organizations have confirmed their participation in offline country exhibitions; 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, 5 cities under separate planning, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions have confirmed their participation and set up transactions Group, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei continued to adopt the joint exhibition method, Zhejiang and Shanxi respectively served as the guest provinces and theme provinces; in the digital service zone, 39 well-known domestic and foreign companies including Amazon, Canon, NEC, Alibaba, and BOE have signed up for the exhibition. The special exhibition recruitment work has also been fully rolled out. All the special exhibition organizers have been selected and determined by a market-based method. 359 companies have confirmed online or offline exhibitions. The overall completion rate of offline exhibitions is 60%, and the internationalization rate is 25%. Among them, there are 32 Fortune 500 companies and 163 leading companies in the industry, accounting for 54%.
“In order to promote the FIT to achieve more results, in 2020, we will seek preferential tax policies for imported exhibits sold during the exhibition period from the Ministry of Finance, the State Administration of Taxation, and the General Administration of Customs. This year, we will make further breakthroughs on the basis of last year.
