A major meeting of the tuning scene, previously announced on social media, took place at the Traun intersection in Traun on Saturday evening around 6 p.m.
The participants first drove together towards Lower Austria, and most of them returned around midnight. There they were then checked by the police. There were several advertisements:
A driver did not stop despite clear signals from the police after ignoring a red light. He accelerated, but then lost control of his car due to the high speed, causing him to skid and after about 150 meters hit an iron post, a trailer and finally a parked car.
As if that wasn’t enough, the driver and his two passengers also fled the scene of the accident in the heavily damaged vehicle.
Crashed into business
After an unsuccessful driving maneuver in the parking lot of a supermarket, another participant drove into the facade of the store there, damaging the entrance door and the door frame.
Another driver was driving at 133 km/h, even though only 70 km/h was allowed. The officers also caught an alcoholic and a drug driver. Another driver was driving without a license at all.
