In the plexus of ‘Peluzzo’ Primary School from the New Teaching Direction and moment of strong emotion filled the hearts of the entire school community: the naming of a classroom in the school building in via Stirling after Ismailthe 14-year-old boy who tragically passed away in recent days, who attended school for 9 years, first in the ‘San Michele’ nursery school, then in the ‘Peluzzo’ primary school and then moving on to the ‘Paolucci’ school.
The greeting and memory of Ismail by his teachers moved everyone present, in particular his family and classmates from class II H of the ‘Paolucci’ secondary school, who had come specifically for the commemoration.
“A butterfly in the garden of life”, we read on the plaque affixed.
“We will continue to promote – underlines the school director Concetta Delle Donne – active and integral citizenship since we are truly citizens only if we feel and act as part of the community. Each of us must keep Ismail’s memory alive by trying to do more and better for the well-being of all.
Among those present was the mayor Francesco Menna and the councillors Anna Bosco, Licia Fioravante e Paola Cianci.
