Carlos Jaramillo, Ambateño artist, presents 38 pictorial pieces that have toured several countries.

‘Colors of the Soul’ is called one of the pictorial exhibitions that will be presented as part of the program of the Fruit and Flower Festival, in Ambato.

This exhibition will be available to citizens starting Friday, March 8, 2024 and can be visited until Saturday the 30th of the same month, at the Edmundo Martínez Pictorial Museum.

Carlos Jaramillo, better known as Kaloy, was born in Ambato and is an agricultural engineer by profession. However, in the last 5 years, art and painting have transformed his life, thus giving way to the creation of more than 700 artistic pieces.

Based on different techniques and with the presentation of 38 artistic works, Jaramillo seeks to capture the mythology of the mestizo culture through his art.

Several of the pieces from his collection have been presented in various parts of the country and abroad, raising the name of Ecuador. (GVA)
