The 58-year-old who was crushed in the morning in a construction company in Introbio (Lecco) died at the Manzoni hospital in Lecco.
He had just started his shift, when – for reasons under consideration by the carabinieri – he was crushed by a moving vehicle. Immediately rescued by his colleagues, he was transported by helicopter to the hospital, where he died of trauma to the chest.

The 58-year-old, of foreign origin, resided with his family in Pasturo. An investigation has been opened by the Lecco Public Prosecutor’s Office. In addition to the carabinieri, investigations are underway by the Ats technicians on the security measures adopted by the company.
