After 17 years the parish of the Immaculate Conception of Aosta changes parish priest

Father Luigino Da Ros will leave due to his age limit after so many years spent in the popular Cogne district

AOSTA. The community of faithful of Aosta is preparing to greet Father Luigino Da Ros, an Oblate missionary of Mary Immaculate who for many years tirelessly led the parish of the Immaculate Conception.

Father Luigino will reach the milestone of 75 years next week, 17 of which are dedicated to the community of the popular Cogne district. As required by canon law, he will leave the leadership of the parish.

The announcement was made today by the provincial superior omi Rosato on the occasion of the evening Holy Mass.

Father Luigino will hold his last celebration as parish priest on Sunday 27 June, the day on which he will officially greet the faithful. The current deputy father Gregorio Piotr will take over on 4 July.
