The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in the city of Gedaref, as part of his field visits to the states, to assess the overall situation.
He was received by Mohamed Abdel Rahman Mahjoub, Governor of Gedaref State, Commander of the Eastern Military Region, Commander of the Second Infantry Division, and a number of state government executives and leaders of the regular agencies of the Armed Forces, the police, and the State Intelligence Service.
During his visit to the city of Gedaref, the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council held a meeting with the State Security Committee, and received enlightenment about the overall situation in the state, especially the security situation.
Al-Burhan also visited the military hospital, inspecting the wounded and wounded in the Battle of Karama against the rebel terrorist Rapid Support militia.
