Codechocó, according to the information collected by its officials and the technical forecast reports from IDEAM, alerts the Municipal Risk Management Committees and the community in general against threats.

Due to the rainfall in recent weeks, there is moisture saturation in the soils, which gives rise to different levels of probability for the occurrence of landslides, in hillside and high slope areas.

The municipalities of Bojayá, El Carmen de Atrato and Río Iró register a Red Alert; Orange Alert in the municipalities of Alto Baudó, Bagadó, Bahía Solano, Bajo Baudó, Condoto, Cértegui, El Cantón Del San Pablo, Istmina, Lloró, Medio Atrato, Nuquí, Nóvita, Quibdó, Río Quito, San José del Palmar, Sipí, Tadó. And Yellow Alert in the municipality of Medio Baudó.

With respect to hydrological alerts, there is a Red Alert due to the probability of sudden floods in the basins of the Cabí River and the Atrato River, generating special attention in the municipality of Quibdó, in the Fuego Verde, La Cazcorva, Alfonso López lower part, and Simón Bolívar neighborhoods. lower part, Las Palmas lower part, Horizonte lower part, La Playita, among others, as well as in the townships of Sanceno, Las Mercedes, Tagachí, San Antonio, San Francisco, among others.

An Orange Alert is registered due to the probability of a rise in the level of the Atrato River and its tributaries, with special attention to the municipalities of El Carmen de Atrato, Cértegui, Lloró, Bagadó, Cantón de San Pablo, Paimadó and Unión Panamericana.

Additionally, Yellow Alert in the Andágueda River basin, in the Quito River basin and in the middle Atrato River basin, especially in the Tagachí and Beté rivers, in the rural area of ​​the municipality of Medio Atrato.

On the other hand, due to the precipitation and maximum temperature recorded, there are conditions of some type of threat due to the probability of the occurrence of fires in the vegetation cover, generating a Yellow Alert in the municipality of Acandí.
