The Italian ambassador to Ecuador, Giovanni Davoli, was received by the mayor of Quito, Pabel Muñoz, in view of his next visit to Rome.
The mayor of the Ecuadorian capital, according to a press release, represented to the ambassador his strong expectation of building close relationships with the public and private sectors of the capital during the visit and learning from the best Roman practices in sectors such as the environment, mobility, protection of cultural heritage, tourism.
For his part, Davoli assured the commitment and collaboration of the Italian embassy for the best success of the visit, underlining the possible areas of joint cooperation, finally highlighting how, “despite the geographical distance, there are many things that unite the two cities, both custodians of a great cultural heritage”.
