Zhang Tao assaulted two academicians, which triggered a strong public opinion backlash. A few days ago, a letter from the injured 86-year-old academician Wu Meirong to his alma mater was reported on the Internet. The letter revealed more details of the two being beaten that day.
On July 6th, Sina Weibo certified big V, senior media person Carlyle posted on Weibo, saying, has Wu Meirong been assaulted? Wu Meirong, who was on the hospital bed in Beijing, spoke and revealed three key messages: The first thing to do was that Wu Tao “beat me twice” and “was interrupted in the waist.” The Aerospace Investment Company previously stated that Zhang Tao did not meet the female academician, but this has been “faced” by the Beijing police: Wu Meirong was knocked to the ground twice by Zhang Mula.
Wu Meirong graduated from Changzhou Middle School in Jiangsu Province at the age of 16. She was beaten, which also attracted the attention of alumni.
The post also attached a reply letter from Wu Meirong to the alumni of Changzhong in the province. The post stated that Wu Meirong’s letter was not long, only 573 words in total. I mainly talked about three points. First, Zhang Tao started to beat Wang Jinnian during the banquet, and then beat Wang Jinnian at home. She herself was beaten twice, which was completely fatal. 2. It was confirmed in the report material that the cause of the beating was to ask Wu and Wang to help him become an academician, and Wang Youyou declined. 3. Wu Meirong asked the murderer to be severely punished.
Wu Meirong said in the letter, “Friends all over the world are caring about me. I was hospitalized at 3 o’clock in the morning on June 7th (early morning), and my waist and spine was interrupted and the soft tissues of my body were contused and edema. I was so painful and unable to move. The tremor and fever suffered dozens of times the pain of this generation. This person (Zhang Tao) is really horrible! There are corruption criminals in various ministries and central enterprises, but such a person has not been seen in the cadre Kochi team! But he has been caught If he is temporarily removed from office, a case will be filed for disciplinary inspection! He will be investigated for corruption and underworld problems!”
“This person asked Wang Jinnian and I to help him become an academician (he has been recommended by someone in the election process, not for us to recommend or lose the election, and the election ends at the end of June)… But Wang said that as soon as he got to know him, he would start to understand. He beat the king and beat people with his home for more than an hour. He hit me twice in the middle… From the cameras, it was the first time to throw me 4 to 5 meters away from the right side with my second hand and arm! Fatal! I automatically let my head fall on the ground! The second time he pulled me with his hands and arms and quickly pressed it down, my spine broke immediately!” Wu Meirong said.
Wu Meirong said, “(Zhang Tao) is extremely cruel. Although the two of us who were beaten suffered physical pain… They were as cruel as the underworld! The video of him hitting me was terrible. The police showed me, the Internet is just a camera far away. I don’t know. It’s even worse for him to spread rumors! Thank you for your concern! The Changzhou office came every day for the past two days and sent someone to take care of me (outsiders dare not use it for fear of assassination by the bad guys!)… These two days are all over Africa. On the afternoon of June 6, Zhang Tao invited Wang Jinnian (54) and Wu Meirong of the International Academy of Astronautics to have a meal. During the dinner, they asked them to recommend him to apply for a membership of the Stockholm-based NGO-the International Academy of Astronautics. They declined.
That night, Zhang Tao sent two academicians home. Zhang Tao sneaked an attack at the elevator door. He kicked Wang Jinnian to the ground from behind and beat Wang Jinnian several times. After that, he also pushed Wu Meirong to the ground. Wang Jinnian suffered multiple rib fractures. Multiple soft tissue injuries throughout the body, and Wu Meirong was diagnosed with a mild compression fracture of the thoracic spine and spondylolisthesis.
The scandal was hidden for several weeks due to the Chinese Communist Party Zhengda’s centennial party celebration, and it was not exposed until the Chinese Communist Party’s 1 July.
Zhang Tao still went to work normally after hitting someone, and the incident immediately fermented on the Internet. On July 4, the official Weibo of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation stated that from now on, Zhang Tao was suspended from performing his duties and cooperating with the investigation.
CNN commented that the two scientists are now being beaten, which runs counter to what Xi Jinping claimed as the so-called “New China”. As a comment on Weibo said: “The Zhang Tao incident revealed a fact: It is much more difficult to achieve the rule of law in China than to send a spacecraft to the sky.”
