The President of Nuestro Tiempo, Andy Failer, announced that, in the event that his political institution is canceled by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE), he would be willing to “refound” a new political party or movement.
«As for the political brand… we have to be clear about the basis that we are going to refound something, it may be a new party, a movement or a platform that builds alliances, but we are going to refound something, but yes, we are considering doing it on a completely fresh new brand,” he declared.
The TSE began a process to cancel Nuestro Tiempo after not reaching 50,000 votes in the elections for deputies to the Legislative Assembly, which is what the Law of Political Parties (LPP) establishes. Failer’s party received a total of 41,060 votes.
