The Antioquia passport office announced that from now on it will process nearly 1,300 documents a day, to meet the growing requirements of citizens, who are increasingly requesting more passports.
The entity reported that scheduling the passport processing appointment is a personal activity that does not require intermediaries and can only be done through the official website: or on the telephone lines: 604 409 90 00 / 01 8000 419000 / #774.
Once it is scheduled, the appointment will be enabled after making the first payment, which corresponds to $172,000, through the authorized payment gateway Place To Pay.
On the other hand, the second payment is subject to the type of passport that each person chooses, that is, for an ordinary passport (with 32 pages) it will be $136,000 and for an executive passport (with 48 pages) the value is $244,000. However, by presenting the last electoral certificate, citizens can obtain a 10% discount on the second payment.
“No intermediaries are required, we call on citizens not to give their money or personal data to third parties, to avoid setbacks,” said the director of the Passport Office, Natalia Berrío, insisting on the use of official channels.
Important information
People who paid for their passport in 2023, before attending the appointment, must request the readjustment form by contacting the WhatsApp line: 322 8341290, for the respective modification at the Bank of the West, taking into account the change of validity of the year 2024.
