In a rapid and effective deployment in the municipality of Pitalito, Huila, the Police Department managed to capture a criminal nicknamed ‘Diener’, who allegedly committed a robbery with intimidation in the vicinity of the Porvenir neighborhood, with a minor of age of the one who took away his motorcycle.
The event occurred in the Porvenir neighborhood, where the armed criminal allegedly intimidated the teenager to steal his vehicle.. However, thanks to the quick action of the quadrant patrol and the sector’s reinforcements, it was possible to intervene in a timely manner, capturing the alleged criminal and recovering the stolen motorcycle.
The individual, identified as ‘Diener’, was presented to the relevant authorities to determine his judicial situation. According to Colonel William Lara, commander of the Huila Police Department, this arrest adds to a series of recent actions that have allowed the capture and prosecution of several criminals in the region.
“In recent days, we have observed an increase in the capture of criminals who have been placed at the disposal of the authorities and protected with security measures,” said Colonel Lara. These actions seek to eradicate the presence of criminal actors that affect the coexistence and safety of the inhabitants of Pitalito and its surroundings.
