Club Atlético Dosquebradas and JEGA Pereira FC continue to represent women’s football in the department in the best way in each of the competitions in which they participate. On this occasion, the National Tournament was held in Bucaramanga where the players from the Industrial municipality were crowned triple champions in the pre-youth, youth and free categories, in addition to a fourth place, ratifying once again the excellent processes that they have been fulfilling with the home footballers.
Those led by Carlos Ariel Osorio, former technical director of the Deportivo Pereira women’s team, took first place in the youth category by beating JEGA Pereira FC in an emotional final with a score of 1-0. The representatives of the Perla del Otún are guided by Eduardo Garzón. In addition, Atlético Dosquebradas also won the youth category title after defeating AFC Yopal with a resounding score of 4-0 and their third trophy won in the Santander capital, they obtained it with the free category, where they defeated the Golden Boot premises.
Furthermore, the club highlights that in the debut of the children’s category, the balance was more than positive, having finished this national competition in fourth place, pleasantly opening new hope for the next generations and talents of women’s football in Dosquebradas.

Coach Carlos Ariel Osorio expresses this quite excitedly: “this participation in the National Women’s Soccer Tournament gives us a very positive balance, very satisfied with the three titles and fourth place in the children’s category, with the development of the event and the work that our athletes developed, the great support of the parents and a special thanks as always to the Mayor’s Office of Dosquebradas for always supporting and supporting our processes. “We will continue making history.”
For her part, this is what the player Luciana Mendoza says: “I thought it was an excellent tournament, we were able to demonstrate our abilities and all the work we have done during all this time, we are very proud of these three wins and we are going to continue working for many more.” .
