The Metropolitan Police of Neiva, through all the controls it carries out daily to combat insecurity in the city, managed to capture a 28-year-old man for the crime of Carrying, Trafficking, Manufacturing of Firearms or Ammunition .
This person was observed by police units while he deliberately carried out detonations in the air in the Cuarto Centenario neighborhood.
In this way, when the man observes the patrol, he flees. He immediately alerts surrounding units about the characteristics of the person and the vehicle.
Shortly after, he was arrested on Carrera 5 between Calles 5 and 6 in the center of Neiva. A call is made to the citizen for his behavior. And a search is carried out on the person, finding a revolver-type traumatic firearm with 06 percussion cartridges.
Finally, the citizen was captured and left at the disposal of the competent authority, who will be in charge of defining his judicial situation.
