Automotoretrò and Automotoracing, Turin rekindles the engines

Turin starts the engines again after the stop caused by the pandemic. At the center of the scene – from 28 April to 1 May, at the Lingotto Fiere and the Oval – big car manufacturers, jewels of the past, big clubs, big motorsport, racing cars, 1,200 exhibitors. And a special section dedicated to sustainable mobility. It is the 39th edition of Automotoretrò and Automotoracing, the events that unite the world of two and four wheels. Motocross champion Tony Cairoli is expected, who with his nine world championships is in second place in the ranking of the most titled riders in history, Pietro Longhi and the emerging Alessandro Re.

The Revolutions exhibition, curated by Luca Beatrice, tells the revolutions of the past in pavilion 2: a path that winds through ten cars and some motorcycles from the second post-war period to the threshold of the third millennium.

«After the stop caused by the pandemic, we are happy to be back with an appointment that has been in the hearts of all fans for more than forty years. The large number of exhibitors shows us, once again, the trust they place in us and in the public – comments Beppe Gianoglio di Bea -. Turin is inextricably linked to the world of the automobile and for this reason we wanted to support this event which will help project Piedmont into the future of the automotive sector ”, underline the president of the Piedmont Regional Council Stefano Allasia and the councilor Michele Mosca.
