Web Desk: Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar says that the government is working on legislation related to social media, more policy guidelines will be introduced on the behavior of internet users.
In a statement, the Law Minister said that he is a supporter of expression, digital rights and objectionable content will soon improve.
He also said that the problem of social media shutdown is not only in Pakistan, there are also social media problems in America, Canada and Australia.
The law minister also said that the former coalition government of PML-N had also formed a committee related to social media, but then the caretaker government came, due to which the work stopped.
. Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar said that he is consulting with Meta and other social media platforms and is also listening to their position, and has started working again on the policy related to social media.
