In Kuhlen-Wendorf, a teenager fell from an old chimney on Thursday. He sustained life-threatening injuries.
In order to take photos of a chimney, a 17-year-old climbed onto the 20-meter-high structure on a site in Kuhlen-Wendorf (Ludwigslust-Parchim district) on Thursday evening. According to the police, a steel rung embedded in the bricks at the top came loose. The teenager, who was accompanied by his 18-year-old brother, fell into the depths and sustained life-threatening injuries.
Victim was responsive
When the emergency services arrived, the 17-year-old was responsive. He was taken to the hospital in Schwerin in a rescue helicopter. The brother was not injured.
