In view of the return in style of one of the most beloved events of the Belluno summer, the Pro loco della Pieve Castionese comes to terms with the post Covid, a long period that has inevitably upset the lives and habits of even those who once would not have beaten eyelash to become part of the large team of volunteers that animates the festival.

“With a bit of effort, but we are regaining the reins of such a big event”, explains Michele Pellegrini, director of the Pro loco, “we are talking about a rather complex machine, which for two whole years has stood still or almost. Although our Pro loco has organized events to keep the territory’s offer alive, it has been more than two years that we have not faced such a demanding challenge ».

A BELLOT IN GREAT STYLE

In the latest edition of the nightmare before Covid, the party was a real success, with thousands of participants and especially with well over 200 volunteers of all ages, active between kitchen, dining room and vigilance, “Now of course there are those who has moved to live far away and who has to find the right incentives, “Pellegrini continued,” we are still put us all at work and the goal is to be able to arrange a Campanot on the same level as those pre Covid. For this reason we appeal to come forward to anyone who wants to help us, working and having fun with us. Maybe just for a day or two, just enough to begin to get around in and maybe with a little more experience, even to enter our Board. “

All that remains is to put all the beauty of Campanot back on display, so as to make it rediscover for the most forgetful, but also to bring the group of young people who, for personal reasons, have been blocked by Covid precisely: “I think that when the shed will be assembled and we will begin to see movement, many will be intrigued and maybe they will want to come and help “, adds Pellegrini,” let’s not forget that two years of Covid have also slowed down the generational change among volunteers, there are guys who have reached the right age to volunteer in this period and they couldn’t do it. So I think that when we start the dances many will come to support us ».

THE PROGRAM

The Campanot 2022 will be held June 17 to 26 and will lead to Castion a respectable program, including music, sports and good food: “It will be our super kitchen, in collaboration with local restaurants, there will be football tournaments and volleyball (both for adults and children) and there will also be our beloved concerts, “confirms Pellegrini,” even in structures did not want to touch anything, confirming the main tent and outdoor stage for concerts.
