Bussoleno, the European Union finances the Comprehensive Institute to prevent early school leaving

BRUSSELS. Reduce and prevent early school leaving and promote equal access to good quality early childhood, primary and secondary education, including formal, non-formal and informal learning pathways for reintegration into education and training. A program financed by the European Union, through the cohesion funds for the development of the Regions, for the Comprehensive Bussoleno Institute, in the province of Turin. A total of 4 thousand euros, with a European contribution of 2,399 euros, useful to cover more than half of the costs.

In Costigliole d’Asti, on the other hand, among the funded programs there is one to facilitate access to work for the unemployed and inactive people, also through local initiatives for employment and support for labor mobility. Another action funded 50% by the EU. Or again, in Cherasco (Cuneo), the EU financed the energy efficiency project for small and medium-sized enterprises at 50%, with a contribution of 16,800 euros.
The new portal
These are just some of the examples of what Europe has done in recent years for its territories. Each action can be consulted on the new Kohesio portal, launched in the name of transparency and the need to communicate Europe to citizens. In Piedmont alone, 7,938 projects of various kinds have been supported so far, from the promotion of businesses to environmental sustainability, from support for employment and the enhancement of services. How many are there and where are they? The portal answers everything. Fully interactive, it allows you to click the desired region on the “talking” map. Just by scrolling the mouse, it can be seen that only in the province of Turin there are 4,583 projects approved and financed, in the Biella area 328, in the Vercelli area 273, in the Cuneo area 1.116, in the Asti area 373, in the province of Alessandria 578, in that of Novara 526. “A real revolution”
A real revolution, assures the Commissioner for Cohesion, Elisa Ferreira. ‘Kohesio offers a complete range of information like never before to find out how cohesion policy helps strengthen our Union. Thanks to Kohesio, cohesion policy becomes even more open and transparent ». The new portal provides an account of the approximately 1.5 million projects funded in the 2014-2020 period, therefore a mapping of past interventions is currently not possible.
