The Cesar Police Department Command reported on the capture of Álvaro Serrano Carrillo, through search work, who was arrested in flagrante delicto for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.
The incident occurred on the road section San Roque – La Paz when transit personnel from the National Police of Valledupar were checking a public service bus where Serrano Carrillo was a passenger and when they searched his belongings, they found a shotgun-type firearm, three 20-caliber cartridges, a hand-made weapon, without having documentation or permit that certifies the legality and origin of the instruments.
