Car against truck, a 55-year-old woman dies: chain accidents, a car squeezed between two trucks not far away

PORDENONE. The death toll from the very serious accident that occurred this afternoon, Monday 6 June, along the Cimpello Sequals, is a victim. For reasons yet to be defined, a car, a Dacia Duster, and a truck collided at the Zoppola exit.

The victim is a 55-year-old woman: her personal details are not yet known. After the alarm, the firefighters and 118 health workers immediately arrived on the scene, also with the regional helicopter rescue. The man driving the commercial truck was transported to the emergency room by ambulance.

He is in shock but not in serious health conditions. The accident occurred around 5pm. The road network was interrupted: the Cimpello-Sequals road was closed to traffic with queues of two kilometers for those coming from Cimpello.

A second accident occurred shortly after, two hundred meters from the first, always along the same stretch of the Cimpello-Sequals. In this case, a car was squeezed between two trucks.
