Carrying Forward the Spirit of Lei Feng: Youth Volunteers Bring Warmth to Elderly
In a heartwarming display of compassion and dedication, young members of the Huaisu-Beng Intercity Railway Company No. 3 Company of China Railway Shanghai Bureau recently participated in a volunteer service activity at the Bell Tower Nursing Home in Xiangshan District. The event, titled “Carrying forward the spirit of Lei Feng and letting youth bloom in dedication,” aimed to provide care and warmth to the elderly residents of the nursing home.
Volunteers from the railway project department brought rice, noodles, and other essentials to the elderly residents, inquiring about their well-being and offering words of encouragement.
