Cervo in the street at Casonetto, a car destroyed

by admin

Accident at dawn at the gates of Feltre, the driver in the hospital as a precaution. Dead the ungulate

FELTRE. A Lancia Ypsilon was practically destroyed in the collision with a deer, who died instantly, which took place shortly before 6am on Monday 22 November on state road 50, at Casonetto.

The violent collision, which caused the subcompact that ended up on the lawn due to the impact to overturn, took place at the roundabout for Nemeggio. The driver of the Lancia was unable to avoid the impact with the large deer that parried in front of him in the street, hitting him in full.

The uncontrolled car made a carom and ended up upside down on the lawn, along with the deer that died in the crash.

The firefighters of the detachment in via Bagnols arrived on the spot in a few minutes together with the sanitary workers of Santa Maria del Prato and the carabinieri of the Feltre company. The driver of the small car, who got out of the car upside down by himself, was in any case taken as a precaution by ambulance to the emergency room for a check-up visit.

For the deer, on the other hand, there was nothing more to be done: while the firefighters were securing the overturned car, they asked the hunters of the alpine reserve to intervene to take away the carcass of the ungulate. The car was then put back on its wheels and taken away by the tow truck, while the traffic on the highway, intense given the time, suffered some slowdown. The intervention of the fire brigade ended around 8.
