The electric energy company, Corpoelec Monagas, reported that there will be a power outage in two parishes in the Maturín Municipality, Monagas state, on the morning of this Saturday, April 27, 2024.
This scheduled outage is due to the review and replacement of equipment and the Pica y Poda plan to strengthen the electrical system in the city.

The San Simón parish will have suspension of service from 8:00 am to 10:00 am in the following sectors:
Luis del Valle García Avenue from the UBV headquarters to ZODI Simón Rodríguez Streets, Giraldot, Monagas, Chimborazo to the Cathedral. Santo Domingo Street, Bermúdez, Boyaca, Fundemos Shopping Center and its surroundings.
For this parish, the equipment will be reviewed and replaced.
In the La Pica parish, the cutting hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the Pica y Poda Plan in the following sectors:
