Jiangmen Daily News – Secretary Chen Anming Visits Municipal People’s Congress and CPPCC
In a recent visit to the Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee and the Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference, Chen Anming, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Party Secretary, and Director of the Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee, extended his condolences and New Year greetings on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.
During the visit, Chen Anming expressed his gratitude to the representatives and members of the CPPCC for their contributions to the city’s high-quality economic and social development in the past year. He emphasized the importance of high-quality development in the new era and urged the people’s congresses and political consultative conferences at all levels to unite their efforts to promote the city’s development.
Chen Anming also highlighted the historical opportunities presented by the “bridge economy” and “golden inner bay” and urged the city’s people’s congress system to focus on promoting the interactive development of resources on the east and west sides of the Pearl River Estuary. He also encouraged deputies to the National People’s Congress to participate in afforestation and greening initiatives, as well as to contribute to the overall ecological construction of Jiangmen.
In addition, Chen Anming emphasized the need for the CPPCC system to leverage the unique advantages of “China’s overseas Chinese capital” and to attract more projects and talents to settle in Jiangmen. He also called for the promotion of the city’s development opportunities and the strengthening of confidence and determination among private enterprises.
City leader Cai Dewei was also in attendance during the visit.
Overall, Chen Anming’s visit to the Municipal People’s Congress and CPPCC served as a call to action for the representatives and members to actively contribute to the high-quality development of Jiangmen and to seek opportunities for growth and collaboration in the Greater Bay Area.
The visit was attended by Zhang Lei, secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the CPPCC, candidate for chairman, and Yi Zhongqiang, deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress.
