Chiara Valcepina was elected councilor in Milan. The candidate of the Brothers of Italy enters the Municipality with 903 votes: the third most voted of her party. One of the exponents of Giorgia Meloni’s formation most touched by the investigation of Fanpage on the relations between the extreme right and the Brothers of Italy during the city electoral campaign. Born in 1974, since 2002 she has been a civil lawyer, then a legal counsel in the Supreme Court and councilor of the relevant Order.
Who is
From the video investigation published by the Naples-based newspaper, Valcepina appears to be in close relations with Roberto Jonghi Lavarini, militant of the far right in Milan at the center of the journalistic story, organizer of the FDI election campaign in the city. Which shows the candidate intent on greeting him with a gladiatorial gesture: the forearms of mutual acquaintances leaned against and clasped by the hands. A welcoming formula borrowed from the nostalgics of fascism. The two are also filmed while showing off the Roman salute: “Covid greeting”, they define it.
In another moment, Valcepina is filmed while telling an anecdote: “I have a client who attended this tour of escorts who never voted – she tells at the table with Lavarini and Carlo Fidanza, MEP and head of delegation of Meloni’s party – which is really the electorate the new one. So I told them I bring the ballot papers and we teach them to fill them out. I take some samples from these girls so I’m happy to go and vote: hyaluronic acid, the discount coupon for the filler ».
The opinion on Bernardo
The video published by Fanpage devotes a few minutes to an electoral aperitif in Valcepina with his supporters, to which Lavarini is also present together with Fidanza, also taken up in attitudes that recall the apology of fascism. The meeting turns into a moment to reiterate his opinion on Luca Bernardo, the pediatrician who challenged Giuseppe Sala with the coalition that also includes Fratelli d’Italia, the party in which the lawyer is a candidate. “He looks a bit like the Yogi bear,” says the new councilor. A third person present at the meeting is amazed at how a Sicilian candidate can be presented in the race to become the first citizen of Milan: “My surname does not betray – replies the lawyer – Valcepina: more Nordic than that”.
Then the “Black Baron” Jonghi Lavarini leaves the table and stands up to praise him: «Patriot among patriots, later also candidate. We could use another term besides the patriot but that’s okay for now patriot ». A phrase used by the militant several times – even on social profiles – often to override the censorship imposed on the word dorm, or fascist.
Giorgia Meloni’s party in the city wins 9.76% of the votes. Just below the League, which reaches 10.74%.
