CHIAVERANO. The flat of Lake Sirio was reopened to the public, damaged during the end-of-year holidays by vandals. Four months after that episode, in the middle of the week the municipal administration received the material to repair the broken boards, and proceeded to restore the pier even before the opening weekend in May, the date initially indicated for the waiting for reopening. The many enthusiasts of free time in the open air rejoice who can thus return to enjoy the view facing the lake. Having repaired the damage and removed the barriers, Deputy Mayor Maurizio Tentarelli gave the news on social media, hoping “that it will last this time”. And with this he made an allusion to the gestures of incivility that are periodically subjected to the area of the pier.
