According to reports, in the past ten years, the people’s courts have resolutely and precisely implemented the criminal policy of combining leniency and severity, severely punished serious criminal crimes in accordance with the law, cracked down on major violent and terrorist crimes that seriously endanger national security and social stability, and dealt with hijacking public transport vehicles and indiscriminately killing innocent people. Crimes that seriously affect the people’s sense of security, such as violent injuries to doctors, are severely punished.
