[NTD News December 02, 2021, Beijing time]A female principal who has won multiple awards in Sichuan Province, China, cheated more than 50 million yuan (RMB, the same below) from students’ parents, relatives and friends in three years. Among them, 30 million were invested in online games, becoming the super-big R in online games, and eventually committed suicide after the Dongchuang incident.

On Monday (November 29), the Chinese media “Securities Times” disclosed the fraud case of Tong Min, the former primary school principal of Hejiang Tianli School in Sichuan Province, which made Tianli Education and NetEase Games both rushed to the “hot search” that day.

According to reports, Tong Min used to be an award-winning teacher and became the principal of the Hejiang Tianli School Primary School under Tianli Education, a well-known private education institution in Sichuan. But then she became addicted to online games.

Tong Min’s role in the online game “Datang Warriors” is a Baihua doctor named Tao Ruo. In order to create this role, she invested a lot of time and money. She is generous, employs 4 to 5 power leveling thugs all the year round, and has built her own star team “Team Tao Ruo”.

Under normal circumstances, the vast majority of online game players play in one district server at most, but “Tao Ruo” has invested heavily in many district servers. When PK with opponents, she may spend millions of games in one day.

A game recharger told the Securities Times that from 2014 to the end of May 2021 alone, the total amount of money he handled was as high as 15 million yuan. “In the entire game, no one knows her (Tao Ruo) spending power, The actual consumption is scary, and all the money is spent on the enemy.”

According to the report, since 2014, Tong Min has successively invested 30 million yuan in online games. Game companies are also very fond of such a lavish super R. Netease’s “Datang Wushuang” official website even touted the doctor “Tao Ruo” in a press release, calling her “a white, rich and beautiful with both talent and appearance.”

However, Tong Min’s huge amount of money invested in online games was all obtained by fraud.

According to Lu Media’s report, from 2017 to 2020, Tong Min used high returns as bait to defraud students’ parents, relatives and friends, private car drivers and other people of more than 50 million yuan.

Tong Min told the deceived people that they can invest in Tianli Education’s cooperative projects, with dividends at the end of each year, and the dividend amount is as high as 20%. Because this is an internal benefit, the investment needs to be low-key and “cannot be passed on.” She also showed a forged “Supplementary Agreement for Executives of Shenzhou Tianli Education Group”, which stated that after the construction of Tianli Education Group’s kindergarten is completed, it will be managed by Tong Min. With the lure of high dividends and Tong Min’s own “excellent qualifications”, dozens of victims remitted money to the private account designated by Tong Min without any doubt.

In the end, the scam games in the real world couldn’t be played anymore, and Tong Min ended his life in early June of this year.

After Tong Min’s death, the police said that it would not pursue her criminal responsibility, but the victim could file civil compensation for her heir; Tianli Education issued a statement stating that the agency had no knowledge of Tong Min’s above-mentioned illegal acts.
