Coach catches fire along the highway, fear among the passengers

A bus went up in flames on the A19, Palermo-Catania motorway, a bus from the Sais transport company. The passengers were unharmed. The Palermo-Catania motorway happened this afternoon at the Ponte Cinque Archi junction in the direction of the Etna capital.

The bus driver, after seeing smoke coming out of the engine compartment, managed to stop in an emergency lay-by, immediately after the Resuttano junction and before the Ponte Cinque Archi junction, and to drop off the passengers who were unharmed.
