Due to these facts, heProsecutors Jahnny Rodríguez Malavé and Rosa Molina Pérez filed five charges against each defendant for fraud, practicing dental surgery without a license and dispensing prescription drugs without being a pharmacist and without having the corresponding authorization.

These crimes are classified in the Penal Code of Puerto Rico.
Judge Margarita Gaudier, of the Court of First Instance of Mayagüez, determined cause for the arrest of the people, issuing another arrest warrant against Soto Román.
He also imposed on Soto Román a bail of one million dollars and set a bail of 200,000 for each of the other defendants, who went to prison.
The preliminary hearing in this case was scheduled for next April 10.
