On March 9, the National Development and Reform Commission and some representatives of the National People’s Congress in our province made video responses and interactive exchanges on the opinions and suggestions put forward by the deputies during their deliberation.
At about 3:00 pm, the large LCD screen at the meeting site was lit. Su Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Development and Reform Commission, and the relevant heads of various departments and bureaus waved to each other with more than 10 representatives of our province. After a brief greeting, everyone went straight to the theme. Relevant persons in charge of various departments and bureaus of the National Development and Reform Commission first responded to the 17 opinions and suggestions put forward by the representatives in 6 aspects including promoting common prosperity and comprehensively promoting rural revitalization, explained relevant policies and introduced future work plans.
After listening to the replies of various departments and bureaus, some representatives of our province conducted further communication with the National Development and Reform Commission on their respective opinions and suggestions.
“I still have some ideas to mention.” Lin Yi, deputy secretary of the National People’s Congress, deputy secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, said that Zhejiang is currently promoting high-quality development and building a demonstration zone for common prosperity. The “development-oriented” institutional policy has accelerated the transition to the “common wealth-oriented” institutional policy.
Yu Xuewen, deputy to the National People’s Congress and chairman of Zhejiang Gengxiang Organic Tea Industry Base Development Co., Ltd., then spoke out for private enterprises, “Private enterprises are not only market players with a relatively high proportion, but also important carriers of employment.” He believes that the current need to further In terms of policies, we will increase support for the development of private enterprises, create a better business environment, and allow private entrepreneurs to focus on their careers.
On the other side of the screen, the relevant persons in charge of the various departments and bureaus of the National Development and Reform Commission listened carefully to the opinions and suggestions of the representatives, recorded the contents of the representatives’ speeches from time to time, and responded one by one. Most of the representatives’ remarks received replies such as “positive support”, and the problems that could not be solved at the time were also explained in a timely manner.
After the video conference, the delegates praised the efficient and pragmatic work style of the National Development and Reform Commission: “The suggestions of the delegates can easily reach the national ministries and get feedback efficiently, which is also the vivid embodiment and concrete implementation of the people’s democracy in the whole process.”
