The show was scheduled for Saturday night, now it’s recalendarized for October 1st. This is the fifth postponement of this show, in Conegliano, in three years
CONEGLIANO. A “Covid curse” has struck the Academy theater. The company that was supposed to take the stage Saturday night to stage the musical “Sister Act” was hit by an outbreak. Seven people in the cast were infected. It is therefore impossible to realize the show, due to the absences and the isolation to which the group was subjected.
It is the fifth time that “Sister Act” has to be postponed to the Academy, the new date has been set for October 1st. It had been one of the events scheduled in 2020, in May first and then in October of that year. But the pandemic had not allowed this to happen. In February 2021 a new postponement, we moved on to January 2022 and when by May 28 everything seems ready, the tickets practically sold out, the virus has overwhelmed the company “Uvm show & musical”.
“Postponed for cases of positivity within the cast – they made it known yesterday by the organization of Amc Eventi -. Due to the long-term rescheduling of the show, there are no refund policies. Previously purchased admission tickets remain valid for the new date and, not being nominal, can be sold or transferred to third parties “. The group had performed successfully with public last Saturday at the Zancanaro theater in Sacile and on May 7 in Montebelluna. When the show was being set up in Conegliano, after two years of waiting, Covid forced a new stop.
