In Italy today, May 29, 14,826 new infections were detected (yesterday 18,255) from coronavirus , detected through 142,066 swabs (yesterday 193,183). The positivity rate is 10.43% (yesterday at 9.4%). The victims today were 27 (yesterday they were 66).

The victims

The daily report released by the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection today, Sunday 29 May, therefore counts 27 victims, 39 less than the 66 recorded yesterday.

The weekly variation

The total of new infections today marks a decrease of 16.44% compared to the same day a week ago, when 17,744 new positives were registered.

Intensive care and other data

The current positive 712,048 are down (yesterday 721,575), as well as 5,234 hospitalized (yesterday 5,348), while intensive care 260 is slightly up (yesterday 250).

In the Marche 365 new cases and no deaths

There are 365 positives recorded today in Marche, compared to 2,653 swabs, including 2,075 in the diagnostic course. The positivity rate drops to 17.6% (yesterday it was 22.7% with 452 positives) and the cumulative incidence per 100 thousand inhabitants still drops, equal to 248.34 (yesterday 263.90). The regional health service announces it. In the last 24 hours, no Covid-related victims have been recorded.
