In Puglia 158 positives and one death
Today in Puglia 9,491 tests for Covid-19 coronavirus infection were recorded and 158 positive cases were detected with an incidence of 1.6%. Of the new positives 32 are in the province of Bari, 19 in the province of Brindisi, 27 in the province of BAT, 5 in the province of Foggia, 58 in the province of Lecce, 12 in the province of Taranto, 6 cases of residents outside the region. 1 case of unknown province of residence was reclassified and attributed. 1 death was recorded, in the BAT province. Since the beginning of the emergency 2,907,054 tests have been carried out. 247,099 patients are cured, 2,421 are currently positive cases and 84 people are hospitalized. The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 256,189.
Calabria, infections increase but positivity rate decreases
In the last 24 hours there has been an increase in infections for Covid in Calabria, from 122 yesterday to 126. Instead, the positivity rate drops, registering a 6.36% (yesterday it was 6.44). Two more people are hospitalized in the medical area, bringing the total to 66. No new hospitalization, however, in intensive care. Furthermore, there are no new deaths. There was an increase in swabs performed by 1,980, with the total reaching 994,459. These are the daily data relating to the Covid-19 epidemic communicated by the prevention departments of the provincial health authorities of Calabria.
In Sardinia 314 new infections and no deaths, +4 in intensive care
Today in Sardinia there are 314 new cases of Covid-19, a positive percentage of 8.4% (3,722 swabs were carried out) and 4 new admissions to intensive care, for a total of 17 hospitalized, while 75 patients are in the ward. No deaths were recorded: the total number of victims remains at 1,502. This is what emerges from the regional bulletin.
Veneto, +483 infections in 24 hours, no victims
483 new Covid infections have been discovered in Veneto in the last 24 hours. However, there was no death. The bulletin of the Region reports it. The number of infected reaches 437,066 since the beginning of the epidemic, that of 11,642 victims. With the sustained recovery of positive cases, the number of people in home isolation also expands, equal to 12,355 (+ 239). The number of Covid patients hospitalized in the medical areas of hospitals slightly decreases, 146 (-3), and that of intensive care, 18 (+1).
In Friuli Venezia Giulia 50 new cases and no deaths
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 1,769 molecular swabs, 40 new infections have been detected with a positive percentage of 2.26%. There are also 1,745 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 10 cases (0.57%) were detected. From the analysis of the data it emerges that 60% of new infections concern people under the age of 29. Today there are no deaths; three people are hospitalized in intensive care, while 16 people are being treated in other wards. This was communicated by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. The deaths totaled 3,790, with the following territorial subdivision: 813 in Trieste, 2,012 in Udine, 672 in Pordenone and 293 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 103,548, the clinically healed 43, while those in isolation are 684.
