In Campania 588 cases and 9 deaths
There are 558 new cases of contagion registered in Campania in the last 24 hours, compared to 14,264 tampons processed. This was communicated by the crisis unit of the Region. There are 9 deceased of which 7 in the last 48 hours and 2 previously, but registered in the last day. There are 20 places occupied in intensive care (656 the total of available); 336 hospital beds occupied (3,160 total available).
Emilia Romagna, another 445 infections and three deaths
There are 445 new cases of positivity in Emilia Romagna, identified in the last 24 hours on the basis of 24,502 swabs made, both molecular and antigenic. While hospitalized patients continue to grow, there are three other deaths: a 61-year-old man in the province of Reggio Emilia, an 89-year-old woman from Parma and a 79-year-old man from the province of Forlì Cesena. The mean age of the new positives is 37.9 years and 169 of them are asymptomatic. The active cases are just over 13 thousand, with 96.9% in home isolation because they do not require hospital treatment. There are 47 hospitalized in intensive care, three more than the previous day and 369 in the other Covid wards (+8). Rimini, with 85 new infections, is the province with the most consistent increase, followed by Reggio Emilia and Bologna (both with 49 cases).
Puglia, 358 cases and two deaths
In Puglia, 358 cases out of 14,554 tests for Covid-19 infection were recorded, with an incidence of 2.45%. The new positives are 104 in the Bat province, 92 each in the provinces of Bari and Lecce, 28 in Brindisi, 22 in Foggiano, 18 in Tarantino, 5 residents outside the region. Three cases of unknown residence were reclassified and attributed. Two deaths were recorded. Since the beginning of the emergency, 3,113,265 tests have been carried out and 4,321 cases are currently positive. The total number of Covid positive cases in Puglia is 260,308 and 249,301 patients are cured.
Piedmont, 305 cases and one death
The Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region has communicated 305 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 22 after antigen tests), equal to 2.2% of 13,757 swabs performed, of which 8,917 antigenic. Of the 305 new cases, 184 were asymptomatic (60.3%). The cases are broken down as follows: 45 screenings, 189 case contacts, 71 with ongoing investigation; 8 Rsa / Social-welfare structures; 2 imported (from abroad). One death was reported.
In Abruzzo 143 positivity but no deaths
There are 143 (aged between 2 and 94 years) the new positive cases of Covid registered in Abruzzo and bring the total from the beginning of the emergency to 77,791. The death toll of patients does not register new cases and remains stable at 2,519. This was communicated by the Regional Health Department, specifying that the number of positive cases also includes 73,188 discharged / healed (+85 compared to Wednesday). The currently positive in Abruzzo are 2,084 (+57). 57 (-4) patients are hospitalized in the medical area, 11 (+5) those in intensive care, while the other 2,016 (+56) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. In the last 24 hours, 2,411 molecular swabs and 3,854 antigen tests were performed. The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigenic tests of the day, is equal to 2.28 percent.
