Covid, 32 new infections in Fvg: seven serious cases

UDINE. On Sunday 17 October in Friuli Venezia Giulia on 1,943 molecular swabs 30 new infections were detected with a positive percentage of 1.52%. There are also 11,353 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 2 cases (0.02%) were detected.

Today there are no deaths, 7 people remain hospitalized in intensive care while 39 patients are hospitalized in other departments.

The deaths totaled 3,832, with the following territorial subdivision: 831 in Trieste, 2,026 in Udine, 680 in Pordenone and 295 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 110,118, the clinically healed 32 and 858 people in isolation.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 114,886 people have been positive (the total of cases has been reduced by two units following a review of positive tests, one relating to the territory of Trieste and one to that of Gorizia) with the following territorial subdivision: 23,710 in Trieste, 52,770 in Udine, 23,038 in Pordenone, 13,769 in Gorizia and 1,599 from outside the region.

As far as the regional health system is concerned, the positivity of a social health worker from the western Friuli health authority was found.

With regard to residential facilities for the elderly, there are no infections either among guests or among operators.
