Atlético Huila arrived in Cartagena with a two-goal advantage in the series, but the locals, led by Alberto Suárez, prevailed from the beginning of the game and managed to equalize the overall series with a score of 3-1 in the second leg. .
Real Cartagena began its search for a comeback from the first minute and managed to open the scoring with a goal from Darwin Palomeque in the 16th minute. Two minutes later, Yhonier López increased the lead for the home team, thus tying the aggregate score 2-2 .

Despite the injury goal scored by Argentine striker Lucas Farías for Atlético Huila in the 52nd minute, Real Cartagena did not stop and in the 71st minute Teo Gutiérrez sealed the match with the third goal for his teamonce again equaling the overall score 3-3.
